More Shropshire schools are to benefit from 20mph speed restrictions. 20mph limits have already been introduced outside or close to ten Shropshire schools in the past 12 months, as part of the road safety programme at Lib Dem-run Shropshire Council.

163 roads to be resurfaced or surface dressed

Lib Dem-run Shropshire Council will be resurfacing 92 stretches of road over the coming months, with a further 71 being surface dressed (sealed and strengthened). This is in addition to ongoing pothole repairs.
