Sky News puts Matthew just 1% behind the Conservative
On Wednesday 19th June, Sky News published it's latest projections for individual constituencies based on a huge YouGov MRP survey of nearly 40,000 adults. Their projection for South Shropshire puts Lib Dem Matthew Green just 1% behind the Conservatives.
The Sky projection has been backed up by the latest Survation survey that puts Matthew second, with Labour far behind.
This comes after a series of spectacular by-election victories for the Lib Dems in South Shropshire. The Lib Dems and Conservatives are now neck and neck with ten councillors each.
These surveys also confirm our own figures, which show that Lib Dem Matthew Green has a strong chance of winning on Thursday.
